Blue Ox Bed Saver Doesn't Work on Pullrite Superglide?

I high hitched while a newbie way back when (2009 or 10) with my PullRite. Since I was pulling straight when my fiver slid back, the kingpin landed between the rails saving me any damage to the truck. Heck of a thud and really embarassing, but no bodily harm, no damage, no money lost.
