The only two provinces I'm recalling your towing is allowed in is Alberta and Saskatchewan
Ontario allows double towing with two ball couplings so I'm pretty sure a trailer behind a fiver would be OK.
The MI State Police love to wait for the Ontario crowd to show up with double ball towing so they can issue a $300+ ticket and make the driver leave the second one behind!
Double towing behind a fiver in MI is OK (with length limits).
Double towing in Ont. is allowed only if the towing vehicle is a motor home, truck or a pickup truck. Cannot use a car, passenger van or SUV. Two ball couplings or fifth wheel/ball combination are legal. Each trailer that is 1360kg(3000lbs.) must have brakes.
Maximum length in Ont. is 75.6' width is 8'6" not including mirrors
Heights is 13'6"
