I back my husband into and off the 5th wheel let him know jaws are locked or unlocked. I put the stiff legs up or down and He releases the jaws or relocks them and we both check each other???? Also we always do a circle check of the whole rig and truck. He drove trucks for years and is very infactic about checking and as we get older we do tend to "forget" Never say can't happen to me. we have put thousands of miles on and we're still very careful.Take your time!!!
