Brake magnets, round or oval?
Whats the difference between the round or oval magnets? getting ready to order some but saw two different type magnets for same weight axle.. thanks.

- The ovals are more powerful, use them if you can.
- Depends on contact surface on face of drums......room for round or need oval ?

Seems a lot of round magnets are being replaced with oval.
Oval has a larger wear surface.
Go with the oval.
But first check the pricing on full assembly....everything already mounted on backing plate.
Full assembly was just a bit higher than price of magnet alone on previous trailer.
