Breakaway Cable on Andersen Hitch.

For those of you that use the Andersen Ultimate Hitch, how do you hook up the Breakaway Cable? I thought, about putting it over the Ball on the Hitch, then hooking up the Coupler on top of it. Then I thought, it might prevent me from disengaging the Coupler from the Hitch when I want to disconnect. How do others do it?

I hook mine with a carabiner to a cargo tie down hook at the rear of the bed of my truck.

I hook a carabiner to the chain plate under the gooseneck ball in the bed.

Hook it to the box of your pickup, not the hitch.

I use a carabiner and attach it to the left front leg of the hitch
