Be especially aware when using the side roads, especially in Texas. My dad and I were traveling together. I was following him with my 5er and he had his. He was in front and we exited to a side road on I35, The clearance said 14'5", no problem, right? Well they had added several inches of new asphalt to the side road with the repaving project and had not adjusted or changed the caution clearance sign. I watched his front Air Conditioner become an air born object and landed just in front of me. I was able to slow and avoid. So please, my 5er comrades, be aware of repaving and the height additions.
