Can't do that - we don't have a hitch yet. Actually, we don't have a truck yet, either - but since we're a used car dealer, getting a truck is easy-peasy.
I'm certainly not afraid to cut out a section between "studs" (from the inside); then replace the foam and luan plywood and wallpaper over it. It's in the space on the rear wall, between the bottom bunk and the upper bunk. The RV doesn't smell musty - and I have a good nose for that sort of stuff.
What happens when you open it up and find that it is not contained to the area you thought and you need to pull the bunks out and start repairing from the floor to ceiling?? And the cost of the repairs start to exceed your estimate???? Just asking!
I would not undertake that task and I consider myself hand also!!!!!!!
Then bring someone to your place.
