I get no chucking with my Andersen but did with the Curt that I had previously. Same truck and trailer - only difference was the hitch.
To the prior trolly assertion by Cummins that the Andersen's "ONLY" advantage is installation and removal, I'd submit the following:
- Easy hitching/unhitching at an angle
- Travels better over uneven terrain than most 5th wheel hitches
- No chance of dropping trailer on truck (no tug test needed)
- Zero grease/lubrication ever required
- More affordable
- Made in Idaho (I like local)
I'm not saying it's better, but there are multiple factors to consider beyond ease of installation and removal.
