C'mon Cummins, tell the whole story. The =only= Companion rated at 25k is the RAM puck version. All other standard Companions, GN mount, Ford or GM pucks, are 20k. All has to do with the extra-wide fore/aft spread of the pucks on the RAM. I can only a$$-u-me that the rail versions are also 20k, because I didn't look them up. I've been around long enough that you know that I'm a B&W fanboy, but we've got to tell the whole story, too.

OK compare it to this one that DOES transfer weight to the bed when taking off and braking, my 2011 Dually bed had the dents to prove it!
I towed MANY thousands of miles with this 18K Companion with a 18K Mobile Suites behind it. I would tow 24K with that same hitch any day before I would tow a 24K RV with an ANDERSEN!!!
I have the same Companion and zero dents in my '02 D'max bed with a 11.3k GVW FW and a few hard stops with it. :) Since I never expect to have a heavy-weight FW, I'll stick my trusty old '04 Companion. :) I'd certainly =tow= a heavier trailer with it, if need be and I could use my brother's F350.
