- Lar_sExplorerIf it lines up in the correct place, and is the right LxW I don't see why it wouldn't work.
- jerem0621Explorer IIIIRC the Companion has a square receiver while other goosenecks tend to have a round receiver. The Companion has a square shank that goes into the square receiver which gets latched in by the handle in the wheel-well of the truck.
I haven’t seen a shank for Hide-a-goose that would work with the Companion.
Now, the Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel hitch would work great with your current hitch and use the ball that Your hitch uses.
Thanks!

Current version does, but not my older one. It's square.
Maybe I'll order up a B&W ball and see if it drops in... - FF286ExplorerThere should be a dealer somewhere close to you that you could stop by and try one out rather than buying and not needing.
- ToddDExplorerFor what it's worth, in case anybody searches in the future, the profile between the 2004 Hidden-Hitch and the B&W were identical, slipped right into the square receiver, but the height of the shank was much taller on the B&W and the lock shaft holes were a few inches off. Close, but no cigar.
I ended up buying a Reese Goose Box replacement pin box, was on sale yesterday...
