When you take the driving test does it have to be with the trailer that puts you over the limit or can you use a smaller trailer? I read that if you show up with the big trailer and don't have someone with you that already had a CDL they will turn you away. It's just like a new driver with a learners permit they need a licensed driver with them in the vehicle.
