class C only allows to tow up to 9,999lbs, my trailer is 10,900lbs. fines for towing out of class are pretty high. I don't do any driving for compensation so no need for a commercial, but non commercial will make me legal.
Well that's great if you really feel you need to get one! I belong to few very large off road groups and none if them have been cited.
