California Moves to Resolve Fifth-Wheel Length

Came across this article 5th wheel length and thought I would share

    actually, if you check, in almost every state it is illegal to tow over 55. It is just not enforced.



    You might want to check on this, as the site I went to just listed 16 states with a towing speed limit of just 55mph, most were 65.


    Actually not correct, tow speed in Utah is 75! And there are many others that are not 55.

  • How about 38ft max from king pin to axle if the 5r only has one axle. Must one big axle and tires.

  • Now hopefully, all states will adopt legislation that standardizes the measurement.
