Camping in Glacier with my fifth wheel

I have a 36 foot fifth wheel and wanted to stay in the Apgar campground the last week in September. Does anyone know if a generator is allowed? I just need a couple of hours to recharge the batteries. Anyone camped there? Is there room for my rig? They say up to 40 feet, but I don't know if that includes the truck or not.

  • We have a 36' fifth wheel, found several spots that would work for us. We did have a little trouble getting out last time because of the large rocks around some sites, so watch that.
  • Generator use in campgrounds is permitted only during the hours: 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.; 12 noon - 2:00 p.m.; and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m

That is what they say about general use in all their campgrounds. I would assume that would be Apgar also.
  • Do you know if the generator run times are the same in all national parks? I haven't found anything on the Apgar website.
  • Length restriction is just the trailer. They have certain times you can run gen.
