Supereri73 - (Am I being overly paranoid?) No it always good to side on being safe and cautious. If your coming around a corner expect another yahoo cutting the inside, if you coming up over a dune expect someone coming the other way!! I've been racing off road all my life now retired I still ride but even at a sanction race I've have had unauthorized vehicles and others on a race course I've almost hit. Your going out to areas were it's a free for all no real rules and people drinking and what not it can get messy real quick. Just be alert you'll be fine!
