Can anyone recondmend a good Redwood dealer?

We live in western Ma. where there are only 2 dealer locations on Redwood web site for this area. We close on our house in 6 weeks and become full timers so we are able to travel. We do have a 5th wheel now, but not large enough.
Can anyone recommend a dealer that has good prices and service?

  • Redwood is getting ready to launch a new line called "Carriage". I can't wait to see what they turn-out with this line. Their website say,
" Leave it to Redwood to revive an almost 50-year-old brand. Carriage was and will be again known for the ultimate in high end luxury, craftsmanship and prestige."
This quote says to me that the Carriage will be "higher end" than the current Redwood. I do not consider Redwood high end at all. For the price point of a Redwood, you can buy a much, much better RV. I am not going to say that Redwood is poor quality but its just another I-beam framed dressed-up Thor product. I was not impressed when we shopped a new fiver.
Do yourself a favor and look closely at Excel, Mobile Suites, and Lifestyle. Good luck and have fun shopping. Phillip
  • Not sure if you would come this far but I purchased a K-Z Durango many years ago from Equinox, PA at Neer's RV. I believe they carry Red Wood also. Was very pleased with them. Excellent service and a through pre-inspection. When we got our unit from them they had gone over it so well that we had zero complaints.

Good luck with your new unit.

I Agree. don't get caught up in all the glitter. look at how a coach is built. read all of the owners forums. heck. a shellaced turd doesn't stink, untill you open it up.

  • Try http://www.spadersrv.com (Spaders RV) Sioux Falls, SD is a long ways away from Mass., but get a hold of Brian Spader, he is really a super nice guy, and easy to deal with. Good luck!
