Thank you very much for the contact info. I emailed Mark and he responded pretty quickly and was very helpful.
For the record, it is an open floor plan model that has a queen sized bed permanently mounted in a fixed position at the rear of the trailer. The bed does not move up or down.
He said the bed does provide "some" structural support but the trailer was designed to be structurally sound without it. There would be no problems with removing it. The down side is the bed is screwed in from the outside in. Through the wall studs and through the interior paneling, into the bed.
Mark was also very helpful with some creative removal ideas that would not require removing the outer skin of the trailer.
