Yes, my 2008 extended cab is at 7000 according to paper from GM. Throw in the hitch, westin bars, and my 40 Gal Transfer Flow tank and I know without weighting that I am over GVWR with my 7200 lb fifth wheel.
I would not even want to think about carrying the pin weight of that fifth wheel.
