We learned an expensive lesson on getting a big enough truck and 5th wheel. After 4 fifth wheels we had to upgrade our truck on last purchas. We finally got it right......5th wheel and truck.
Started with. 2500 diesel truck. It pulled our lighter 5th wheels.
When we traded up to a much heavier 5th wheel we knew we needed a bigger truck!
We now have. 5500 Dodge diesel. Pulling our 18,000 pound 5th wheel.
Works great.
Wish we had done this first!
