Every pound you add to the bed will put you that much more over. Every pound you add to the trailer will affect the truck by a bit either putting more or less weight on it (unless you put it squarely over the axles, and all depends on where you put the weight.
Well, I was going to put a 125cc scooter on a carrier on the rear hitch receiver on the 5th wheel, and a few for miscellaneous items for about 150lbs in the truck bed.
Worried though that the scooter might cause a light pin condition. But too old to walk much, and would prefer not to use the truck for a grocery getter unless I have to.
It seemed strange to me that the GAWR for the trailer axles is 4400 each, which combined is less that the GVW. But I suppose that they take into consideration the landing gear when unhitched and the pin weight on the truck when hitched.
