Every pound you add to the bed will put you that much more over. Every pound you add to the trailer will affect the truck by a bit either putting more or less weight on it (unless you put it squarely over the axles, and all depends on where you put the weight.
How did you get 340 over weight? All the CAT weights were under his sticker numbers.
Front axle, plus rear axle=10,340 lbs. Truck GVWR 10,000. Yes, he is under axle ratings. I would not be concerned about the GVWR, if over a little.
