CAN YOU CLEAN A FLOJET WATER PUMP
I think there may be debris in my Flojet water pump because it keeps running and pumps very little water. There is no screen on this pump and all connections are tight. It is a Flojet Model #03526-144...

You can take it apart and clean it, but, most likely you have a bad impeller. You will need to replace it to make it pump. After every use, you need to flush it with clean water to clear it. I will pour in a little oil in it and run it to lubricate the impeller. If you don't lube it, the blades of the impeller will stick and when you try to run it, it can and will pull the blades off the impeller.
