Dollars to donuts my bet is way too many perfectly good pumps are replaced by owners who assume it has to be the pump that's faulty when it's much more likely there's a leak somewhere in the trailer's plumbing system. Before assuming the pump itself has an issue disconnect it entirely from the trailer, stick the intake hose into a jug of water, and see if that resolves the problem ... if it does you've got a leak elsewhere in the trailer, if not it's the pump.
