CAN YOU CLEAN A FLOJET WATER PUMP

I think there may be debris in my Flojet water pump because it keeps running and pumps very little water. There is no screen on this pump and all connections are tight. It is a Flojet Model #03526-144.
Could it also be the pressure switch? How is that determined? Has anyone done this?? If so how is it done? Any Help would be appreciated.

    No inlet strainer so it could have debris from fresh water tank holding the pump internal check valve open.

    Could also just be sucking air in on inlet side of pump. Leaky suction hose, loose clamp, loose/cracked fitting, cracked pump housing.

    Pump is completely rebuildable.

    Quite often just disassemble/clean--rinse/reassemble will resolve issue.


    HERE is a service manual with description/exploded view/part numbers.

    Very easy to work on.
