Cleaning my roof

Personally I’d never use a power washer on the roof regardless of material, but others do. What I would do is get a two gallon yard sprayer and mix up a some detergent, cup or two of bleach, and the rest water. Spray the roof liberally with the mixture, using a brush gently scrub the roof, and then let it stand for 5-10 minutes so the bleach can work on any mildew, rinse the heck out of it. Touch up any areas you may have missed.

This mixture is also good for cleaning awnings.

I'm sure someone will say they do it all the time but I would never use one on any part of an RV.
In regards to the roof, it could easily cause the membrane to lift.

Unless it's a cosmetic thing, there's really no need to wash the roof. Doing so will only shorten its life and doesn't do anything for it.

I wouldn't use a power washer. I'm sure on low it will be okay. But, I would rather use a soft brush, take my time and inspect the roof while cleaning. Look for missing/loose caulk or other potential problems.
A clean roof isn't necessary. A leak free roof is necessary.

No. Too risky. Soft brush, RV rubber roof cleaner, a gentle garden hose sprayer, and follow up with RV rubber roof conditioner. The conditioner really treats the roof and keeps it nice and slick.

Folks will put tons of wax on the side of their campers and claim it's easier to remove the black streaks that way. Well, they ignore the roof, never clean it, treat it, or do anything with it. It gets dirty and then the black streaks form. Keep the roof clean and your gutters and you won't have near the black stream problem.

I would not use a pressure washer on any part of the camper as a cleaning process.

Doing this will sooner or later allow water to find the weak spot in the sealants and get in.

Anything over normal garden hose pressure (~50psi) is too much.

I washed mine last week. I just used a soft detergent, a brush and a garden hose. I would really not want to use a pressure washer on a rubber roof. It's too quick and easy to just use soap and water.

It really does not need something so harsh. A soft bristle brush and a good mild detergent will do the trick. All you want to do is remove the dirt that has settled on it over the winter and wash it again at the end of the season. Don't park under pine trees either.
