Have you checked the manufactured dates on the tires' sidewalls? Maybe they are new, but I was just wondering.
I was shopping for a E-range tire for my F350 pickup last spring. A tire dealer said that he had a Continental tire stamped 2012 that I could have for $100. I took it! I figure to get three seasons out of it, which will be a good deal. (I have used either Continental or Michelin from the beginning and have not noticed much difference.)
