Well I now own a 2013 Landmark by Heartland which is the Top of the Line for Heartland. After taking it back to the dealer for a lot of little things for the first 6 months everything is good now. I do not like the quality of the CC nor Forest River. My parents had some major problems with there FR and it was even shipped back to the factory after 1 year and a leak developed that ruined the roof front and rear caps and the side wall. They replaced all of it out of warranty. My parents never saw it fixed because they traded it back to the dealer for another brand.
I personally like the Montana we have owned 3 with no problems.
What brand of Forest River? CC? Or a entry level unit?
"They replaced all of it out of warranty" Sounds like pretty good service to me!
Cardinal
It had so many roof leaks the side walls and interior walls looked like a Golf Ball with so many Bubbles.
Well I've heard about some problems in Cardinals, but that's not a Cedar Creek and they are made differently by different divisions. Cedar Creeks do not de-lam because of how they are made. As for the roof leak did your folks inspect the seams and re-caulk as necessary? Re-caulking happens to be standard maintenence.
The unit was only about 18+ months old. So caulking of seams would not be necessary at that time.
