Cedar Creek and Residential Fridge Question

Traded the toyhauler for a new Cedar Creek 38CK on Black Friday. Moving from a Heartland built Cyclone to a Forest River built Cedar Creek. Hopefully a few Cedar Creek owners will assure me the Cedar Creeks are good campers. Ordered it with the 20 cu ft residential fridge. Two door fridge with a third door freezer on the bottom. What do you guys do when on the road to assure yourself the doors stay closed? Hate to get to our destination to find a unloaded fridge. Do you tie the doors together?
  • we've looked at some trailers that have the residential fridge and i remember seeing some (can' say all) that had some kind of 'locking' feature to keep the doors closed during travel. Your salesman should be able to track this down for you so you know one way or the other.
  • I can't answer your question about the refrigerator but as for the Cedar Creek; I have had my Silverback for many years now and it has been basically problem free. The fit and finish is excellent and it is a very solid unit. I would buy another.
  • I don't have it, but I'd look at using Velcro Onewrap to tie them together. We use it for cabinet doors and a variety of things in our camper.
