We have a Cedar Creek Silverback. The switch on ours is on the wall behind the TV. We use a check list. This switch gets turned off every time we break camp. It gets turned on when we set up and don't have cable. If it's on will it keep cable from working..... I couldn't tel, you. With our checklist this switch wouldn't be on unless we didn't have cable.
As it has already been pointed out, the actual switch from cable to over the air tv is done on the tv through the menu. Every time you move, the cable needs to be scanned.
