I bought one to run a compressor for my air impact wrench. The compressor would just kill the Honda 2000 when I tried it - too much startup wattage needed that an invertor generator couldn't handle.
It's a reasonable generator for the price though as the years go on I appreciate a second person to help load it in the truck. The noise level is reasonable though not as quiet as the Hondas and not as noisy as many other generators.
I run synthetic oil in mine because I often use it in the winter to start frozen equipment. I'd buy a second one if I find a good sale.

I just went to Cabela's web site and they are on sale for $299.99, I think I need to go shopping tomorrow.
