- tourusaExplorerYes having to put on hold my ladder just reaches the top windows will have to wait till I get a new neighbor with a longer ladder, not sure about lying on the roof
- laknoxNomadCould also just lay on the roof and work down. Saves you from having to move the ladder every few feet.
Lyle - tourusaExplorerThanks all I’m on the road and I have an extendable ladder which should reach, any suggestions on a frame ladders which you all carry with you I may upgrade.
Appreciate all - MFLNomad IIAgree with above, pinch it in as you go. It is near impossible to pull a 40' length, and you don't want to stretch the plastic, causing it to shrink over time.
Lay the plastic insert on the roof, full length, using a weight to hold it there.
Jerry - opnspacesNavigator IIAs said easiest is to put one side in then use your fingers to pinch or fold it and put the other side in. So if you're on a ladder put the top edge in the rail then pinch or fold it and put the bottom edge in the rail and let go. Start at one end and move across until you get to the other end.
- goducks10ExplorerNot sure what yours looks like but mine are basically a screwed on trim piece that has a snap in vinyl insert. If so then you just need to squeeze the insert to fit inside the groves on the trim piece. Sometimes you can just push in the top or bottom followed by the other side. Pretty simple.
