China bombs

Had a tire go bad in clinton tn. The only tires I could find was Hi -Run can only hope I got a good set. I said early hy -Line
  • China is going through the same cycle as Japan. Initially everything from Japan was junk. Now it seems to be the best. With China we'll just have to suffer through this transition phase and hope it's not too long.

Maybe the tires you bought were Hi-Run?

Given that you have a 2004 30' Sunnybrook trailer, chances are your axles are 5200 or 6K. If it has 15" tires and rims then upgrading to 16" rims is a very good move.

I would also suggest that if you do not want more tire problems in look into installing 16" Michelin XPS Ribs or Bridgestone Duravis R250's all steel ply tires. My third choose is a true commercial duty rated poly carcass tire in the BS Duravis R500HD. The R500HD has a two ply poly carcass where most others have a single ply poly carcass.

It is sort of like putting tire problems behind you and not looking back!!! Chris

Never heard of "Hy-Line"...make sure you air them to recommended PSI...When you aren't traveling, you may want to do some research on tires as to which may take your mind off the worry of if or when these tires may or may not fail...

Notice you have a Sunnybrook, what weight range are the tires?

So what caused the tire to fail? China bomb is not a reason for failure.
