Coating epdm roof on our fifth wheel.

I was wondering if anyone has recoated their rubber roof with one of these coatings they sell and if it worked well and which brand to use. Mine is 16 years old and in the desert of Lancaster Ca.and is now starting to show signs of the outer coating failing. Thanks Jeff

  • A couple years ago we had a 28' TT that we coated with dicor epdm rubber roof coating system. The TT was a 2000 model and the white roof was nearly gray with spider cracks all over it. I believe we used 2 gallons. It only took 2-3 hours and the roof looked like a brand new roof, shiny and smooth. When we gave the trailer to our daughter it looked(thanks to the roof) like it hardly ever been used and had been kept inside. Oh I forgot to say we washed it with a soft bristle brush before we painted it.
  • I'm happy with Heng's Rubber Roof Coating. It's easy to apply and needs no primer.
It holds up well on our 96 Southwind's original roof.
