Coleman 250TQ vs Forest River Wolf Pack 24pack14plus

Few other differences include exterior width (102" vs 96"), height (taller interior), power front jack, enclosed shower, generator compartment, also the forest river website lists fresh water as 100 gallons vs 60 in the coleman. If you like the WP you should check rv trader, there are several new units with aluminum siding from 20k-23k.

have you looked at the 300tq the slide and separate garage is nice and still under 10k pounds.

This is VERY helpful. The 300 is too big for me. I just don't need that much space and want to keep the budget at or under $20k. The 250 is a nice upgrade from where I am at now and a more reasonable length. I also have no issue with aluminum siding and wood frame. I have that now and it is solid as a rock. Glad to hear you are happy with it and the quality though. It would be nice to have the patio deck with the Wolf Pack, but not for $6000 more.

In reality there is no such thing as MSRP that I've found. So anything is negotiable. As for the amount that's hard to say but generally speaking 20-30% of but off of 20k that's unlikely. But I'd sure go in asking at least 15% off and see where they stand.

So the pricing I have is their internet discounted rate, are you saying I can try and negotiate lower than that? If so how much lower can I request/expect? The list is $31,642, the internet discounted price $20,499. How much more do you think I could negotiate?

The other HUGE difference is the WolfPack has fiberglass sides vs the aluminum, that is a significant cost too, and generally speaking helps with resale too. The fuel tank is a big plus and means you're not carrying gas cans, but only you can decided if it's needed by you.

Besides the fuel tank and patio setup, the Wolf Pack has fiberglass siding vs aluminum on the Coleman. Fiberglass costs more.

Also note: Some Forest River products can be ordered from the factory with electrically heated holding tanks. When I purchased my Flagstaff (it gets cold in the Chicago area), the dealer told me "he orders all of his stock units with that option installed". I don't know if Wolf Pack offers the same, but, it's possible that option is installed, too.
