We removed the screens from our screen door and installed Lexan panels turning it into a storm door. We leave the main door open a lot and now have a view to the patio and people that come to the "door"!

I would do this but the screen doors on all of my trailers never really had a good latch that wouldn't pop open without too much force. This becomes a PITA when I have to keep my toddler off of the door all the time and can't leave the door open. I'd much rather have the full-view vented door, which is a sweet option. After drooling over my friend's every time I went in and out of the door, I figured that it would be worth my time and money to replace mine with one. No screen door to deal with and a full view door with window. Can't beat it.
I'll have to check with Gulfstream and see, they will probably be the best option as all of the Open Range RVs are grey and I'm sure their doors come pre-painted, which would not match my RV.
