- AllworthExplorer IIWarranty period is warranty period.
End of warranty period is end of warranty period.

Might have mentioned this up front. Those are pretty rare systems.

This trailer had Lippert SBS (sealed bearing system) bearings on it. They admitted (finally)that there was no way to grease or maintain the bearings.
A search was done for bearings that would fit and none were found.
Liippert also said they changed the axles and bearings and do not have them anymore. They upgrade them as "better things come along".
Everyone has an opinion and I have mine. Glad I do not have to deal with them again. - VulcaneerExplorerI am still trying to figure out why LCI should be warrantying some wheel bearings on 4 year old axles. Last contact I had with Lippert was when my left landing gear leg failed. My OEM called them and authorized them to talk directly to me. And the three of us talked through the issue. With no questions, Lippert sent me a replacement leg with 2 day delivery. They wanted me to get a certified RV repair tech to install it. There were none available where I was. So they went on to say, that since I was not a certified RV repair service, that if anything went wrong with the new leg, they would not warranty it again. I had no problem with that. In fact, I found them to be very helpful, pretty customer centric, and very professional.
They asked a lot of questions as to what occurred to make the leg fail. And when they were satisfied I didn't do any thing stupid, they ponied up the warrantee. And took good care of me. And all this deep into my trailers two year warranty. And that was about two years ago.
I have no problem with a company like that.. - redcowExplorer

Found this on the Columbus RV Group FB page today. Seems the NHTSA has given Lippert and FR until May 9th to provide ALL the documentation regarding this VERY SERIOUS ISSUE!
If you've had any issues & haven't filed a compliant with the NHTSA, it's not too late! Please go to their website and file, even if you have had the repairs done, it is imperative that we get ALL the information out there to hopefully force a recall and prevent someone from getting seriously injured and/or worse, killed. THANKS!

Wayne & Sheryl - redcowExplorer" The bottom line is they make poor products and do not stand behind them. The company has a terrible reputation - again read the many reports of problems on this site. There are a lot of RVers who refuse to purchase an RV with a Lippert frame and based on the issues I've had with some of their other components, I can understand why."
I have been trying to work out an agreement with Lippert axles for the 2 bearings and a tire that were ruined on my 4 year old trailer by faulty bearings.
Customer service called me a few days ago and said all they would do was sent me new axles at a reduced price. I asked what the reduced price was, and he said “ I don’t know”.
I then told him that I had no use for the axles as I already had ordered Dexter axels. (Which I could order parts for and get good customer service). I then told him I would take a check for whatever the reduced price of the axles was and they could keep the axles. He said they would not do that!!!!!!
I then reminded him that a friend of mine got reimbursed for 3 Dexter axles he purchased because of faulty bearings from Lippert. He then replied, that was a mistake and Lippert should not have paid him. The bookkeeping department messed up or some other excuse that they always come up with!!!!!! - Mile_HighExplorerThat makes sense then. Our RV manufacturer also stopped sending warranty parts direct to the customer -it has to go through a Dealer now - similar effort but to a smaller scale.
- AllworthExplorer IILippert is warranting to only their direct customers (the coach manufacturers) not the end users.
The coach manufacturer (or should they be called assembliers??) warrants the bearing and supplies it to you. Lippert then replaces it to the CM.
It reduces their contact list and improves delivery control. - redcowExplorer

That doesn't even sound close to right - doesn't even really make sense. Are you sure you read the response from Lippert right?
Here is the whole email from Lippert:
