" The bottom line is they make poor products and do not stand behind them. The company has a terrible reputation - again read the many reports of problems on this site. There are a lot of RVers who refuse to purchase an RV with a Lippert frame and based on the issues I've had with some of their other components, I can understand why."
I have been trying to work out an agreement with Lippert axles for the 2 bearings and a tire that were ruined on my 4 year old trailer by faulty bearings.
Customer service called me a few days ago and said all they would do was sent me new axles at a reduced price. I asked what the reduced price was, and he said “ I don’t know”.
I then told him that I had no use for the axles as I already had ordered Dexter axels. (Which I could order parts for and get good customer service). I then told him I would take a check for whatever the reduced price of the axles was and they could keep the axles. He said they would not do that!!!!!!
I then reminded him that a friend of mine got reimbursed for 3 Dexter axles he purchased because of faulty bearings from Lippert. He then replied, that was a mistake and Lippert should not have paid him. The bookkeeping department messed up or some other excuse that they always come up with!!!!!!
