I am still trying to figure out why LCI should be warrantying some wheel bearings on 4 year old axles. Especially when two bearings fail on the same end (at the same time) of two different axles. Could it maybe be a maintenance issue? And I doubt Lippert makes bearings. But I also doubt they use special wheel bearings that you can't get from any good bearing house.
Last contact I had with Lippert was when my left landing gear leg failed. My OEM called them and authorized them to talk directly to me. And the three of us talked through the issue. With no questions, Lippert sent me a replacement leg with 2 day delivery. They wanted me to get a certified RV repair tech to install it. There were none available where I was. So they went on to say, that since I was not a certified RV repair service, that if anything went wrong with the new leg, they would not warranty it again. I had no problem with that. In fact, I found them to be very helpful, pretty customer centric, and very professional.
They asked a lot of questions as to what occurred to make the leg fail. And when they were satisfied I didn't do any thing stupid, they ponied up the warrantee. And took good care of me. And all this deep into my trailers two year warranty. And that was about two years ago.
I have no problem with a company like that..
