Well, even at 7500 your pin weight will be roughly 1500 lbs. I would look at the door tag for the GAWR of your rear axle and make sure it falls within that. I don't know what engine and axle you have, but you just may want to watch the over drive when towing vice changing out you rear end gear ratio. The 7500 lbs figure could be the gross weight for the trailer is rated for with the lighter weight being for an unloaded trailer minus options. Good luck.
