Considering Fifth Wheel Purchase

We have a 2011 Jayco HT 26.5 RLS and love it. We have a 2010 F150 and have no issues pulling the 5th wheel. Jayco has a quality product and they are easy to work with. I would buy another Jayco in a heart beat.

There was a question above about whether you can use the bathroom in the Jayco, but I don't hink anybody answered it. Some of the 5th wheels I've been in you'de have to be pretty thin to squeeze between the counter and the slide in. Thanks.

Really no such site. There are basically 3 grades. Entry level light on weight and features but a good way to get started and intended for a couple months a year use tops. Mid grade with more features, weight, cost ,built for extended use, 3 season insulated, still not built for full time use but more room and comfort items like 50amp, bigger fridge etc. Then the high end with heavy frames, large tires, and residential full time living in mind. If there is a brand and model you are interested in find the owners web site and read. That will tell you a lot about build quality, factory response to problems etc.. But then you get to try and find a dealer who will work with you- Increasingly that is the hardest part. Also be aware of how YOU plan to use the trailer, ie a rig perfect for back roads and dry camp situations will not be the best for RV park stays. I just bought again after 6 years and went through the whole process again as my needs had changed and I ended up buying from a new manufacturer that had found the unique formula right for me, many full time features in a mid profile unit/great floorplan at a mid line price. Factory support that is awesome as well.

Can anyone point me to a web site that shows ratings for all 5th wheels? Looking to purchase one. Pleeeease.

Where can I find FREE of charge any actual "ratings" on BRANDS of 5th wheels? I'm preparing to purchase and it can be a bit overwhelming sorting through the good and the bad quality units/companies :) Thank you in advance to anyone who responds.

Unit is like new having been in service only about 6 months so plenty of warranty left.

We have a 2012 Jayco 26.5rls and we really like it. It comes standard with a 2yr warranty plus one year emergency roadside assistance from coach-net. We towed to FL and back to Me this spring and it exceeded our expectations. We did have some small cracks in the front cap. sent pics to dealer which they sent to Jayco. They are going to replace the front cap at the end of our camping season,they put this in writing no hassel.

I notice both of your selections are rear entry. Do they both allow access to fridge and restroom with slides in?

The outside burner and shower on the Jayco are a plus but that is preferance. I do miss the outside burner.

The water distribution panel on the KZ is a plus to me. I like having one connection and doing it all with valves.

The shower in the bedroom on the KZ would be a deal breaker for me, but again preferance.
