- SecuritiExplorerAlmost done. Everything is in the truck. Had to have druveshafts made. Picking them up tomarrow. And I will post more pics of completed project. More pics for now.

- SecuritiExplorerIam now starting the drive trian project. The first step is to remove stock fuel tank. It is in the way of where the transfur case needs to go. Then I put a 110 gallon fuel cell in bed. It is hooked right into fuel lines. And guage is hook up all so. Here is some pics of that much.

I am planing on having drivetrain done with in 2 weeks. Will update with pics. BTW. I got 1000 miles on current setup with no problems.:B - JDelaneyExplorerNeat project! Did you consider modifying a high pinion Dana 60 front axle? That would give you an offset carrier for drive shaft and ground clearance.
- SecuritiExplorerI'm a "stock" type person. I want my stuff to be in stock condition. I can't imagine the weeping and gnashing of teeth it would of taken me to take the cutting wheel to my nice blue diesel truck but you did it and have the talent to change it to a professionally built work horse... You have revived the wimpy "technician" moniker to the old standard of a true mechanic...........
Not to flame you folks who are considered techicains or think of yourselves as such but in old times a technitian was one who worked at a bench dressed in white. Now the rubbish collector is considered a refuse technition. OK, when we take our vehicles to a shop and the problem is in the computer connection, that needs a technetion to figure out the problem but for a brake job or any other mechanical problem it takes a mechanic... I once took my truck to a brake "specialist" to have a rotor turned. I told him which wheel and no other was needed. The bill was rediculasly high. When I ask why I was told the "technition" needed spicial tools to do the job. I've done it myself before with a small screwdriver and a larger screwdriver.. The word is so over rated and over charged..... As always..IMO...
Hey, look at me... I'm a poster technition

Wow, impressive.
When the "zombie apocalypse" hits, can I come over to your place to hide out in your rig? I'll provide beer and pretzels as part of my keep...
Seriously though, that type of project amazes me. Not just the mechanical genius...the fearlessness and confidence to tear into your truck like that is awe inspiring.
Thank you. I plan on doing the Drivetrain next week. Will update the pics. Again. Thanks - DaCamperExplorerWow, impressive.
