That is because trailer manufactures always put a minimum tire on trailers. What I mean by that is the tire is carrying right at or just under the maximum weight the tire is rated to carry! Once you chose to upgrade the tires to a much higher capacity, then things change. There isn't a tire on my whole rig that runs at max pressure. I value traction too much to do that.
