Take a hard look at the Open Range gooseneck Chris mentioned above as well as the Andersen Ultimate 5th wheel adapter for conventional 5th wheel trailers.
You said this is going to go in a F-150 so you will be payload limited from the start. A gooseneck hitch is much lighter than a 5th wheel hitch from any manufacturer.
That said, with a F-150 you may be better off with a bumper pull trailer. They don't use up as much of your payload for the same trailer weight.
Oh yeah, if you go to etrailer.com they have install videos for many of the hitches they sell.
