Crosswinds RV tires

Anybody have any comments on Crosswind RV tires?(ST 23580R16)
I realize they are made in China like many other tires today.
Your Thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
  • Drive below the tire speed limit....keep weight at around 80% .... keep them inflated to max cold tp before you travel....use tpms.....so far I have never had a problem....but driving 56-58 mph everyone passes me....but so far never have had a blowout....and have always been able to stop the rig in time....make sure you have a good date on them when you buy...

    good luck....
  • Instead of bashing here are some facts

Crosswind tires are made in China by Shandong Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd.

I have seen these tires (linglong) used on OTR (semi) trailers. So either they are just cheap, or cheap and reliable.
  • Some of the Crosswinds are advertised on eBay: See auction # 221181764725

But they are ST Tires. ST tires made in China are notoriously bad.

Wouldn't own them if they were the last tires on earth.
  • Just the fact that nobody knows anything about them would convince me to look elsewhere. Don't skimp where the rubber meets the road, IMO.
  • If you never heard of them why would you want them? There are no Crossroads tire stores that I know of. These cheap Chinese brands change their names at the first signs of trouble..Just buy some quality American made LT tires and live happily ever after.

I haven't heard of the Crosswind tires but I would suggest you look at "LT" tires regardless of the brand you pick.
