Cuddeback Dry Lake
Hello everyone, Just got back from Cuddeback dry Lake. Great weather, great fiends and the only other people were two motorhomes on the other end of the lake bed. Rode up to Randsburg Ghost town for lunch on Saturday and out the Husky monument on Sunday. A friend in our group downloaded an app with a map called "Friends of Johnson Valley". It took us right to the memorial. I had never been there before and was surprised to see so many really cool memorials for so many people who love the desert. My brother in law found it back in the 80s when it was just the Husqvarna set in concrete as a memorial for a friend. Now there must be well over 50 memorials of all types. Eclectic but beautiful.
We played with all the toys. Made a track for the RC cars, flew RC planes and a friend brought a new 40" Rocket.
Thinking this may be a great place for Thanksgiving.
