Since your new to it and just picking it up to get it home start on the top(highest) and once it's home you can adjust it to what you need.
You want to have around 6 inches of clearance.
We just brought home our new 5er and I had to raise the head up on slot as it was to low and only had 2-3 inches of clearance.
Easier to try and do it at home than guess when your in a rush.
