Dallas to Colorado Springs
Anyone out there found a better spot to overnight than Amarillo on the run from DFW to Colorado Springs? Maybe Raton? Thanks Tom

There is also an RV park at Capulin,NM, its small but for over night its ok and has all hookups. Run up to the top of the Volcano while you are there, does not take long, interesting to say the least. Capulin is about 40 miles or less East of Raton. Just went thru there last Sunday. Clayton NM has a KOA, nothing special, but over night again OK as I have done that on many occasions. I like to get to Clayton, from Waco, TX, its 10 hours, main reason, it is a LOT COOLER there and of course always a breeze.
