It boils down to the fact that it is your money. Decide on a price with a reasonable trade allowance. tell the dealer that you will give hims XXXXX dollars out the door. Do not forget to allow for taxes and registration fess.
We bought several trailers that we simply gave the dealer a this is my best offer and I am ready to write a check right now for this amount.
But you need to do your home work and see what wholesale is on the trade and allow the dealer ot make some profit on bothe RVs.
