Good job on doing it yourself, but I do have to ask a question from the beginning of this post, did the dealer give you a quote or an estimate?? I am not a RV dealer however I do manage a service based shop and I always have customers come to me and want me to quote some kind of repair sight unseen. If I have to do that then I am surely going to shoot long, now if they will let me give them an estimate we will be a lot closer. Just an FYI, there is a major difference between quote and estimate, just sayin'. Happy camping!!!
