Dealer requires suitable truck

Whatever the motivation, I think it's good. This is certainly better than the salesman in Myrtle Beach that said I could easily "pull" a 15K fiver with my 2500HD because it was a diesel. Per the sticker on the door it only had #1400 left on payload.

Why wouldn't they?

You are legally under the trucks ability.

It is the owner of the vehicles that need to be aware of what they can/want to tow....

Lazy Days required proper documentation for any towable sale. Its only done for liability to cover their backside, but I appreciate it, they are better than most. The dealer that just delivered a 33 foot Laredo tt to a friends acquaintance yesterday being pulled with their Tacoma truck should be illegal. Told them the only requirement was a brake controller.

Yep. Lazy Days is s first class operation. We bought our fiver there and a very good friend just took delivery of a new one 2 weeks ago. I'm not saying that they won't sell someone a rig that does not have a properly rated tow vehicle, but they do ask and document all the specifics of your tow vehicle. They did ask us about our hitch, as well. Phillip
